Dear all,
Sorry for my basic question. I'm working in a wind turbine project and would like to optimize an airfoil of vertical axis wind turbine. As a start, I've heard the NACA 6 series were good initial profile. Thus, I modeled the profile of NACA 64(2)-A015 but some questions arose. Q1) Is there some function describing thickness distribution (y) along chord line(x) like yU=fU(x) and yL=fL(x) (upper and lower lines) for 6-digit series as exists for NACA 4 and 5 digit series ? Q2)Meanings of "64(2)-A015" As stated in Wikipedia,
