Hi all,
I'm working on a Fluid-Structure Interaction code. I would like to know if exists a mesher that is able to generate both structural and fluid mesh with a conformed mesh at the interface (the mesh points should be the same at the interface). Thanks |

Yes. It is possible. We did for many projects.

I am having a look to GMSH n this moment. It's able to do a conformed mesh, but as I understood so far, it's not able to create a 3D prismatic layer (my task is to analyze a 3D wing). Any suggestions?
Thanks |

Have a look at Pointwise. It can mesh both fluid and solid regions with a conformal interface and prisms on one or both side of the interface.
