Hey guys,

i am stuck with the following problem: in Inventor i created a tray that has moulds that are filled with chocolate. At the end i have 2 stl files: tray and chocolate.

I want to simulate the heat exchange between the chocolate and the air and tray with chtMultiRegionFoam. So my goal is to set up a case with the regions: tray, chocolate, air.

Now I don't now how to make the mesh. My idea was to make a background mesh with Salome and then use snappyHexMesh. The problem is that there are around 50 chocolate pieces that do not touch each other. So when i use Salome, it seems like I have to tread every chocolate piece as a single solid, which is very annoying.
Can snappyHexMesh even work with these files? I tried it, but it takes forever to mesh and i don't think its working.

Can anyone give me a hint on how to do the mesh?
