I´m not sure if this is a WSL2 issue or an OPENFOAM one but here´s my problem:
I´ve been running a simulation overnight and when i come back in the morning I wanted to check the progress with Paraview and it couldn´t load any new Data so I checked the terminal (photo attached).
Luckily I´ve made a backup, sadly not of the last case so i have to rebuild it but still annoying.
But now I can´t access most of the files on the Linux partition from Windows Explorer. The old terminal does not accept any new commands and a new one won´t even open anymore. So I guess i massively corrupted the WSL by running a simulation.
What I think the problem was is that i ran ouot of disk space as there were only 1.5 Gb left, but shouldn´t WSL or OPENFOAM detect that? Or is that something I have to watch out for next time?
Might there even be a whole different reason why it crashed?

Quick update:
Typing wsl --update into the command prompt seems to have fixed the Linux installation. At least I have access to the files and basic Linux commands again, but the directory commands of openfoam still seem to be broken.
But still no idea why it happened
