Hi,
In OpenFOAM-1.5, checkMesh didn't use timeSelector class. If it was run on a case without 0 or any other time dump, just system and constant with polyMesh folder, it would check the mesh in constant. Now in OpenFOAM-1.6 checkMesh is using timeSelector class and it is excluding the -constant option. As a result, if there is no time folders available in the case, it says No times selected and produces no mesh report. Is this intentional for some reason? I sometimes would like to check the mesh initially before creating any fields - it would be nice if that was possible. Regards, Kati |

Just create a dummy 0 directory (mkdir 0) and it should work.
The 1.6.x version allows -constant. |
