Fixed-Rotation boundary doesn't affect whole mesh

Hi everyone,
In the attached case a fixed rotation boundary is added on the patch at the left end in the figure. All other patches are set to zeroGradient. As shown in the picture below, only a small part of the mesh is actually moving. However, I would rather expect that the whole pipe is uniformly rotating. A uniform could be only achieved if the mantle areas of the pipe are defined with fixed Rotation. However, this would be possible in the final model. I attached the underlying case to this issue. I am grateful for any suggestions. |
