in which part of convective BC there is its formulation and how can apply it in groovyBC?

There is also an "advective" boundary condition by default. I assume this does exactly what you require.

Hi Bernhard
could you please give me some instructions about when these type of boundary conditions are applicable and useful?
are ther useful for unsteady flows?

Why do you want to use it?

I would use advective BC's at outlet for typical convection-diffusion equations (e.g. concentration transport). Have a look in the .H of the boundary condition, it contains a lot of info about what is actually done. They are certainly useful for unsteady flows.
immortality and HesamAUT like this.
