Are there plans to update swak4Foam to work with the new v1612+? I couldn't get the development version to install so far, with the tips from the OpenFOAM 4.0 thread, but there just might be more changes required to swak4Foam, I guess.
Thanks for any help. |

The swak4Foam develop branch now works with 1612 as well.

I had a try to build the develop branch, but it still fails pretty instantly for me, with the following error message:
../FieldValueExpressionParser.yy: In member function ‘virtual int parserField::FieldValueExpressionParser:arse()’: ../FieldValueExpressionParser.yy:1209:103: error: invalid const_cast from type ‘const Internal* {aka const Foam:imensionedField<float, Foam::surfaceMesh>*}’ to type ‘Foam:imensionedField<double, Foam::surfaceMesh>*’ ../FieldValueExpressionParser.yy:4444:101: error: invalid const_cast from type ‘const Internal* {aka const Foam:imensionedField<float, Foam:ointMesh>*}’ to type ‘Foam:imensionedField<double, Foam:ointMesh>*’ FieldValueExpressionParser.tab.cc: In member function ‘parserField::FieldValueExpressionParser::token_nu mber_type parserField::FieldValueExpressionParser::yytransla te_(int)’: FieldValueExpressionParser.tab.cc:16826:24: warning: use of old-style cast [-Wold-style-cast] make: *** [Make/linux64GccSPInt64Opt/FieldValueExpressionParser.o] Error 1 Parser library did not compile OK. No sense continuing as everything else depends on it Thanks for your help! |

Hi there,
Have you tried the "Allclean" first? It looks like you are trying to build within a folder where a build has already been run earlier. I can confirm that the develop branch of swak4Foam compiles and is operational with OpenFOAM v1612+. Regards, Philippose |

Sorry, I must have gotten confused with the different directories, I think it works now!
Thanks for confirming again. |

Hello,
I built the release version of swak4Foam. The build is giving some errors, and its log file is attached. The build stops while compiling the "fieldreport" library. Can someone help? Thanks. Last edited by raunakbardia; July 24, 2017 at 17:02. |
