Hey Foamers,
Due to limited information / instructions on how to install and use cfmesh with an OpenFOAM already installed, meshing have been a problem for my case - meshing the short pipe to be exposed high pressure. According to my best understanding about cfmesh, it is only suitable for OpenFOAM version both 4.0 and 4.1 whereas it is not OK for updated versions such as OF version 5, 6 etc. It appears cfmesh looks like a cool thing when it comes to mesh in a fast and flexible way. One more thing, those who want to use a gui for cfmesh could access more details via https://cfmesh.com/help-center/. Like i said, i would highly appreciate any help about the matter since this is really important if any users want to go with cfMesh. Best regards Anil |

cfmesh should compile out of the box for more recent OpenFOAM versions. In OpenFOAM-v1806, OpenFOAM-v1812 it is included in the modules/ subdirectory and should thus automatically be compiled when you compile OpenFOAM.

I am assuming you have already compiled OpenFOAM using Allwmake file in src folder.
Have you added this at the end of your $HOME/.bashrc file? Code:
"source /mnt/c/OpenFOAM-v2006/etc/bashrc" Once you do that, try Code:
source ~/.bashrc

Hello,
could anyone help me about how to install cfMesh with OpenFOAM v2112 ? I thought it should have been under '/usr/lib/openfoam/openfoam2112/modules' but after installing the latest OF version I could not find this directory at all.. I am running OF under Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. Many thanks in advance |
