Hi dear all,

I would like to install OpenFoam in Solaris 10 (SunOS) and compiler version is Sun C 5.12 SunOS_sparc 2011/11/16.

Can anyone suggest, which version of OpenFoam is suitable for Solaris 10?

And I also want to know the installation procedure.

Anyone who has installed it on the same OS successfully please give me some help.

Thanks & Regards
ramki.

Quick answer: Try contacting the forum member who managed to install OpenFOAM 1.6 in Solaris 10 back in 2010: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...aris-10-a.html - I say this because the forum member specifically wrote:

Hi Bruno, greetings first

Thanks for your quick response.

I read some of the forums on OpenFOAM in Solaris 10.

I have downloaded OpenFOAm-1.6 general & ThridPrty-1.6 general in home directory($HOME/OpenFOAM) and renamed the unpacked directory OpenFOAM-1.6.x & ThirdParty-1.6.x.

I got error as 'No such file or dirctory'' while compiling the ThirdParty stuff and OpenFOAM source file with ./Allwmake.

kindly help me.

ramki.
