Hi!

After having installed OpenCFD-OpenFOAM4WindowsInstaller_v1606+.exe, no env variables seem to be registered in my Windows 7 environment.

Is this has to be a manual process? If so where can I find all the names/paths?

Thanks

you need to click on first OF_ENV_CReate shorcut from Desktop and then need to click on OpenFOAM_start which will open terminal with openfoam environment set .

Hi Pawan,

Yes, already did this and in this order.
Is there a way to check that everything in properly installed? OpenFOAM_start prompts me with the following :

Does it means that everything's fine?

Thanks

Hi Pawan,

I actually refered to this page for the installation + the README file.
But no $FOAM_TUTORIALS set, and no /opt folder in my Windows anywhere.

Am I missing something? Isn't /opt a linux folder? Is there a link with the VM then? Not easy setting
