Hi Everybody,

I am facing some issues intalling OpenFOAM-2.4.0 on OpenSUSE 42.1.
In detail I have a problem by setting the environmental variables.

I source the /etc/bashrc file into /home/.bashrc, by adding at the end of this last file the following line:

Quote:
source $HOME/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-2.4.0/etc/bashrc
and then i run
Quote:
source $HOME/.bashrc
getting out:
Quote:
mpicc: command not found
openmpi is already installed and I don't really understand why it is not working.

Does someone have an advice?
Thanks.

Daniele

4. Now, since we're trying to minimize the number of packages to be built, the Open-MPI package that is available with openSUSE is going to be chosen. The downside is that this requires that you logout and log back in, for the system to update the environment settings.
Nonetheless, we can postpone logging out by running:
Code:
source /etc/profile.d/mpi-selector.sh
Note: the instructions for openSUSE 13.2 also work on 42.1.
