Dear Foamers,
I am trying to learn myself snappyHexMesh and I am running to a problem that I hope somebody can help me with. The geometry that I am trying to mesh has a thin channel in it which needs to be meshed but does not need a boundary layer mesh. Up to the layer addition process the meshing goes without a hitch, but after the first layer addition iteration SHM crashes. Code:
mpirun noticed that process rank 37 with PID 48495 on node ec01b08 exited on signal 8 (Floating point exception). Is there a way that I can check if my hypothesis is correct? Is there a way I can exclude this small channel from the layer addition process? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |
