Hi,
please be more specific. What's non-rectangular in your case?! Maybe these pages might help: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...setfields.html https://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/C...funkySetFields Cutter |

Hi,
ok, this is a fairly simple geometric shape, but it isn't one of the standard shapes. I have done something like this before, but couldn't find the case yet (probably on another machine). Here are the basic steps: 1. create the mesh of your channel 2. create a STL geometry of your trapezoidal using your favourite CAD program (Salome for example) 3. use the STL to create a cell set using surfaceToCell in topoSet, see https://github.com/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM...et/topoSetDict 4. reference the the cell set using zoneToCell within the setFieldsDict, http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...setfields.html Good luck!
