Hello Foamers,
I successfully created my mesh using snappyHexMesh (tube with a sphere inside; or better: cylinder with flow resistance). Now, I want to define an inlet / out / wall patch for my BC. What is the best way to do this after snappyHexMesh? Thanks a lot |

I found my own thread and meanwhile a have the solution:
once you have created your mesh, you can use the setSet utility to make a cellSet c1 from given stl by surfaceToCell. *Than, make a faceSet f1 from the cellSet c1. *Make a second faceset f2 with patchToFace from the patch (existing patch after mesh generation) *Subset f2 with f1 use the resulting f2 in the createPatch utility -> edit the BC for the new patch |
