Hey!
I would like to manage to make cell split refinement for a region, which, e.g. outer surface is determined as a function. This surface could be for example a parabolic cylinder x^2 + y +z =0 or something else. Naturally I could always create this kind of surface in .stl or similar format and then use refineMesh+topoSet functionality but I don't find this feasible when playing around and changing similar mesh slightly from case to case. I would assume that by abusing topoSet feature and some scripting this could be possible. Any ideas or experience? Cheers |

In the end I decided to create parametrized scripts for stl files via openscad and then just refine by using them. Anyway if I have more time in some point I check if this could be possible via existing functions in OF.
