snapphexmesh with not quite orthogonal base mesh

Can sHM cope with a rhomboid base mesh ?
I have thin sections slightly inclined to each other so that a base mesh that follow the slight incline should yield better mesh if SHM can use it. The base mesh blocks are as per the attachment

Yes, in general it can snap to any mesh but the less-orthogonal it gets the more difficult getting a good mesh will be.
