Hi!
Do you know if there is any tutorial about flow between two coaxial cylinders (the inner cylinder to rotate and the outer cylinder to be fixed) using dynamic mesh for OpenFoam 10?

I tried to simulate this, but I have problems with the NCC - how to define only the inner cylinder to rotate or how to chose a right zone to create the NCC? I create the baffles which are close to the inner cylinder, split them, then createNonConformalCouples, but it does not seem to lead to any reasonable results. I place the BC for the nonCouple in 0/p and 0/U, but openFoam wants also BCs for nonConformalCyclic_on_nonCouple1, nonConformalCyclic_on_nonCouple2, nonConformalError_on_nonCouple1 and nonConformalError_on_nonCouple2, which is not ok, maybe.

I found a template, in OpenFoam, but in this case I have problems with some defaultPatch { name background; type internal;}, which present in the blockMeshDict file. The openFoam requires then some boundary conditions for this background and I am not very sure what they should be (since they are type internal).

I should mention that I tried using blockMesh alone or snappyHexMesh. But I have the same problems in both cases...
Could someone help with this?

May I ask, are you sure you need an NCC interface and different regions to model "flow between two coaxial cylinders"? Maybe your model looks different than I imagine, maybe you can elaborate on that?
