Hi,
I am trying to set up a case like wind around building tutorial in simple foam. I changed the file to my own an left everything to default. when I run the case in paraview instead of seeing the result of snappyHexMesh I get my own mesh and somehow the case fails. I can't find whats wrong with my case? would anybody mind helping me? I', really stuck. Any help would be appreciated. This is the Linke to the files of the case: http://www.mediafire.com/file/5do1fh...ase-1.rar/file |

Hey,
I think your problem is that your "locationInMesh" specifies a point internal to your stl geometry, and from what you wrote it seems like you meant for the mesh to be external. Its really worth it to spend some time with the tutorials before you try to run your own cases - much less frustrating that way, but it takes a lot of time: https://wiki.openfoam.com/Tutorials |
