Hi all,
I am using a blockMesh to create a curved wedge (attached picture) however I am having some trouble with refining the mesh at the edges and keeping the aspect ratio low. I want a fine mesh on all walls and a nice gradual increase in cell size in the radial direction. My method so far has been splitting the block into five parts and refining each block individually. I can get a reasonably nice mesh throughout, but I am unable to refine the outer edge only for the last block. I have been using the multigrading method for this but still unsure how I would do that for the last block. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! |

Hi,
this task could be done quite easily with Salome software by using different refinements for edges and sub-meshes. Just let me know if you need some further support! Best, Damian
