nskelly is on a distinguished road
Hi all,

I am using a blockMesh to create a curved wedge (attached picture) however I am having some trouble with refining the mesh at the edges and keeping the aspect ratio low.

I want a fine mesh on all walls and a nice gradual increase in cell size in the radial direction.

My method so far has been splitting the block into five parts and refining each block individually. I can get a reasonably nice mesh throughout, but I am unable to refine the outer edge only for the last block.

I have been using the multigrading method for this but still unsure how I would do that for the last block.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

virengos will become famous soon enough
Hi,
this task could be done quite easily with Salome software by using different refinements for edges and sub-meshes. Just let me know if you need some further support!
Best,
Damian
