Hi everyone!

I have liquid that is contained in a wedge (see attached geometry). I'm wondering how to refine the mesh near the wedge corner. Do you have any ideas? I can provide whatever files you need, but currently I'm unsure what to show.

I am using OpenFOAM 6.0 and with this, snappyHexMesh.

Thanks for your time!

Josh

Hi Josh,
what do you mean by the wedg corner? The sharp part on the left side of the image? To resolve sharp edges I would generally use surfaceFeatures, but you could also use a refinement region. Could you share your snappyHexMeshDict and an image that shows exactly the area you want to refine?
Cheers
Kevin
