Hello,
I am now trying to introduce refineMesh to my case. I did a test on the cavity flow. The case is the same as tutorial cavity, but I change size to 0.2 and lower velocity to 0.01. I have picked a region near the lid randomly to see if the refineMesh works.
The numerical scheme of laplacianSchemes and snGradSchemes are changed to Gauss linear corrected and corrected. The checkMesh appears no error
Then I found something. Although a circulation does appear inside the cavity, the velocity field in the adaptive mesh is apparently different from surrounding area. Across original and adaptive mesh region the velocity distribution is not smooth.Did anyone have the similar experience of this situtaiton and know why it happens? Or it is a correct result?
I have posted two charts. One is mesh and the other is velocity distribution
Thank you
