Dear all,

Usually, snappyHexMesh is used to extract zone of meshes for calculation area, in which non-calculation area is removed.

Is it possible not to remove the non-calculation area but to set it as cellZoneSet or cellSet?

Kind regards

I could solve this problem by myself.

I used topoSet with setting "source surfaceToCell", then could set cellZone based on STL file.

Thanks a lot.

If you have a geometry, and you want snappy to keep both the mesh inside and outside, the simplest way is to use locationsInMesh, and set two points, one inside and one outside. Though I believe locationsInMesh only exists on the openfoam.com variant
