[snappyHexMesh] spikes between surfaces

Hi Everyone,


i am working on IC Engine using snappyHexMesh. The problem i am facing occurs in the cases where the gap between the valve and the cylinderhead (valve seat) is very small. Spikes appears between the two surfaces.


Anyone knows how to solve this problem?
