Hi,
Has anyone tried to export the mesh together with the bounday face information directly from gmsh? I just started playing with gmsh. Can someone post the steps how this can be done? I have asked the same question on the gmsh mailing list, but, still no reponse yet. Thanks! Pei |

You create your geometry using lines, planes and volumes. Then you create
Physical Surfaces which are named. example: Physical Surface ("top") = {3,4}; where 3 and 4 are surface numbers. If you create physical surfaces, then make sure you also create a physical volume or nothing will end up in OpenFOAM. [Yes, I realize this question is 3 years old, but someone should really answer some of these for new people seaching these forums.] |
