Hi everyone,
I am trying to model a UV unit which is basically a cylindrical pipe with uv tubes in it. The uv tubes are parallel to the average flow direction while the inlet/outlet are located near the top and bottom sections of the unit on the lateral wall of the cylinder. From what I gathered on the forum it seems that the mesh generation would be quite complicated since I will have to follow the outer pipe geometry while blending towards a pattern that follows the uv tube geometry near them. Does anyone have suggestion on what would be the best tool/method to obtain such a mesh. I would prefer to use only hex elements. Thanks in advance for any input on the matter. |
