Compiling Netgen on Linux is very difficult.
Does anyone have succesfully compiled Netgen on his Linux-Distribution and can send me the Netgen-Package ? I want to collect the different available Netgen-Packages on the OpenFOAM-Wikki-Page http://openfoamwiki.net/non_cdl/Open...dex.php/Netgen . This will make it easyer to install the program. I'm specially looking for RPM-Packages for Intel32, Intel64, AMD64 but for other architectures and package-types as well. |

hello Gerhard,
I found a package precompiled for Debian (don't know for other distribution) at: http://people.debian.org/~prudhomm/ I know how to change a .rpm package in a .deb debian package with alien, but not in reverse way (maybe possible). You have to put this line in your /etc/apt/source.list deb http://people.debian.org/~prudhomm/debian ./ update your sources and install it: # apt-get update # apt-get install netgen This package don't have step incoming module, for this, I only found the solution of the live-dvd at: http://www.caelinux.com/CMS/index.php I hope you will succes Vincent |
