Hallo everybody!
I try to mesh a pipe with hexagonal cross-section with snappyHexMesh. The case is built up symmtrically, so you can see a trapezium-shaped pipe. I have defined one stl-File for the Wall of the pipe, one for the inlet and one for the outlet. But there are two things going wrong with the Surface Layers (look at the pictures): - only the topside of the pipe-wall is meshed with Surface-Layers, on the two sides nothing happens. - and near inlet and outlet layers are not created, also. Can somebody tell me, what is going wrong, or wich adjustments i can take, to get a complete layer-mesh all over the pipe-wall. Thank You and Greets Uli |
