I'm posting this announcement on behalf of Steven Beale, who is (AFAIK) responsible for managing the development of the openFuelCell project which is designed to work with OpenFOAM technology: http://openfuelcell.sourceforge.net/

This is the announcement he requested me to publish:
Quote:
You are invited to an openFuelCell workshop at the Forschungszentrum Juelich, Germany commencing the afternoon of Tuesday 24th October and continuing on the morning of Wednesday 25th October. The goals of the workshop will be to;
  1. Exchange technical ideas and share common approaches as a group
  2. Share coding ideas and best practices
  3. Eliminate unnecessary duplication
  4. Meet OpenFOAM development and application programmers
  5. Generate common platforms
  6. Identify possible joint research programs and funding opportunities
  7. Write technical publications
We will have both instructional lectures, and round-table discussions. At this time I am asking you to write to me indicating interest in attending, and for your ideas as to how best to structure the workshop. Attendees are responsible for their own travel costs, but there is no charge for attending. Please RSVP me at the above email.

Sincerely

Steven Beale
The aforementioned email address can be retrieved from the git history of the project, but here it is on coded form:

Disclaimer: I'm very briefly assisting in this project, mostly only handling the wiki page: https://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Contrib/OpenFuelCell - and occasionally helping on the discussion thread regarding installation issues: https://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/op...-openfoam.html - I am not a developer for this project and I'm not familiar with how it works internally.
