With respect to the latest news regarding COVID-19 the organizing committee has taken the decision to cancel the congress, and to postpone it for next year, until the situation gets controlled.

Dear Foamers,

I am pleased to announce the 4th FOAM@Iberia Meeting, which will be held on 19 and 20 May 2020, at the IHCantabria headquarters in Santander (Spain).

These informal meetings are an opportunity to meet OpenFOAM®, meet and interact with other OpenFOAM® users/developers, learn about the latest developments in the computer library, and share and disseminate their OpenFOAM® achievements. These events are intended to play an important role in the dissemination of OpenFOAM® not only in Portugal and Spain, as they are also open to participants from around the world.

The FOAM@Iberia meetings are open to everyone regardless of origin and/or area of activity. Additionally, you can visit and enjoy the attractions of Santander (a boat trip on one of the most beautiful bays in the world, Centro Botín Museum a syymbol of modernity and a point of reference in the world of culture, over a dozen beaches at various points, ttraditional gastronomy based on marine products, …).

Key dates:
· 28th February: deadline for submitting an abstract.
· 15th March: acceptance of the contributions.
· 15th April: Early Bird Registration deadline.
· 15th May: Regular Registration deadline.
· 19th – 20th May: Conference Dates.

We are extremely proud to announce the keynote speakers for the 4th Foam@Iberia meeting:

- Professor Gavin Tabor (University of Exeter, UK), with a presentation entitled: "OpenFOAM and Wave-Structure Interaction in the UK".

- Professor Sergio Chiva (University Jaume I, Spain), with a presentation entitled: " Wastewater treatment plants, a challenge for CFD modelling: coupling multiphase flow hydrodynamic and complex biological processes"

- Professor Norberto Pueyo and post-doctoral researcher Ana Cubero (University of Zaragoza, Spain), with a presentation entitled: "OpenFOAM at University of Zaragoza: from "have-it" to "hacking".

Dear colleagues,

With respect to the latest news regarding COVID-19, the organizing committee has taken the decision to cancel the congress, and to postpone it for next year, until the situation gets controlled.

We are very sad to have to take this decision but we consider it to be the best option because of the situation we are in.

We will restart the organization of the congress next year with the same plans.
