7th French/Belgian OpenFOAM user conference, May 22-23rd 2024, Paris-Saclay (FRANCE)

Dear OpenFOAMers,

We are pleased to announce the 7th French/Belgian OpenFOAM users conference will be held in Paris-Saclay, France, on May 22nd and 23rd 2024.

You can already submit a presentation title here.
Early bird registration is open until February 28th 2024.

For this 7th edition, you will be able to choose between a workshop session OR a tour of the Synchrotron Soleil facility.
The workshop session will aim to gather users who want to share their knowledge and issues on specific topics (e.g. meshing, post-processing, ...).
Attendees will be asked to sort topics in order of preference beforehand in order to pick the most popular ones.

Important dates:
February 28th 2024: end of early bird registration
May 22nd-23rd 2024: conference

Hello,
what would the language of the conference be? Will it be completely in English?

Hello Kunal,

English is the preferred language as we often have attendees who do not speak French.
Few speakers might still present their work in French but most of the presentations will be in English.

If you are interested, there is 2 weeks left to take advantage of the early bird registration rate.

Please feel free to ask if you have more questions regarding the conference.

There is less than a month left before the conference, it is still time to register!

The conference website has been updated with the list of speakers and presentations titles.

During registration, you will have to choose between a tour of SOLEIL Synchrotron and a round table to discuss OpenFOAM-related issues with other users.

We will soon get back to the registered attendees to select which topics will be discussed during the round table. We hope this can be an opportunity to meet other users having similar interests in order to share tips & tricks and hopefully improve your OpenFOAM experience.
