tstom is on a distinguished road
I am tasked with creating a batch processing script to load a pvd file consisting of a number of slices from a CFD simulation at progressing time steps, process each slice, and then export a .ply file of each. I have a working process, but it relies upon the animationscene.GoToNext() and as the machines this script will eventually run on have no displays this is not ideal.

So, i am looking for a behaviour similar to this function that does not require a rendering context to be created, i have attempted simply iterating over the slices in a for loop, but this doesn't progress the slice used in the filters for processing so each time a save is attempted it is of the first slice.

I have searched high and low for a possible solution but have not found anything! Any guidance you could provide would be greatly appreciated!
