I have a Tekplot Data File with 3 velocities (u,v,w)
I combine than in a Calculator window by: iHat*u+jHat*v+kHat*w If i want to calculate the curl(Result) I receive: vtkFunctionParser (0000000015437810): Syntax error: expecting a variable name; see position 0 What is going wrong ? |

Quick answer: "curl" is not a valid function for the standard ParaView calculator. You will have to use instead on the "Python Calculator" filter. It's best that you search online on how to use "numpy" with ParaView, since you're going to need it for being able to use "curl".
