Default homogenous spatial average for a pipe flow

Thangam is on a distinguished road
has anyone come across an utility for a homogeneous spatial average? i.e for a pipe flow, the 2D average field ( in r and theta) can be obtained for a fixed number of reference points along the axis of the pipe. Any starting points??
