Hi Foamers,
I have a really simple question. I ran a channel flow simulation with 128*100*128 grids in streamwise (x), vertical (y), and spanwise (z) direction. After the simulation, I would like to extract the temperature fields at a specific channel height, e.g., y=50. How can I do that? I know that "sample" utility can do a simple work, but interpolation is always needed. How can I just give a y index and extract the data from specific vertical layer of the grids? (I used non-uniform grids in vertical direction, so I dont want interpolation, I just want raw data from a specific grid layer). Many thanks! Regards, Ripperjack |
