area averaged pressure of sample surface

hi everyone!

i have done some tube-2-phase simulations, which i want to analyse now.

how i mentioned in this post: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...ing-plane.html , i create sample-surfaces to get the pressure over some slices.
i would like to average this values over the area of the sample-surface, but i dont have the area of each cellFace to get the weighting of each value.
i know i could do this on runtime with function objects & swak, but the calculations are already done and they took very long. is there a "quick'n'easy" way for postprocessing the average of a samplesurface after the simulation is done over all timesteps?

got it!

fieldReport from swak4foam with zones is absolutely what i was looking for.
aaaand it has csv export...
