shockwave is on a distinguished road
Hi to everyone,

I need a number of quantities that appear in derivatives like for example div(tau) (tau the viscous part of the stress tensor) for post processing purposes.

Is there someone who knows a way to tell OpenFOAM to compute such kind of new variables? Thank you in advance

Just one final note:
at the moment I can compute div(U), grad(U) grad(p) and the vorticity, via the postProcess utility of OpenFOAM and I can create a new (simple) variable through the calculator of paraview so the real problem I encounter is with more complicated variables that contain derivatives
