Dear Foamers,
I have a simulation data for a round liquid jet problem, where the jet is evolving in the x-direction. I have taken a slice at a particular streamwise location 'x' (which gives me a y-z plane). I want to find the radial distribution of circulation on this particular y-z plane by taking the line integral of the tangential component of velocity along a circular closed curve. But, I am not in a position to do this. My questions are- (1) how to extract the data along a circle or any closed curve in paraview. ? (2) Is there any filter or tool to extract data along any closed curve in paraview so that one can calculate circulation? (3) Is there any alternative method to calculate circulation for example- by changing line integral to surface integral which gives me vorticity, which can be further integrated to get circulation ? Thank you in advance |
