Hello OF's,

I am working on the jet flows simulations using LES. One aspect of the flow I need to include in my reports is the volume and momentum flux calculation. To do so, I need to integrate over the velocity magnitude in a designated area on a several chosen surfaces perpendicular to the flow direction:

see the attached picture for the formula I am trying to come up with. I was wondering if any one has tried to do such post-processing using OF utilities or on visualizing packages (I use paraview), python, ...

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Sina
