Dear Openfoamers,

I have run an Openfoam simulation in a supercomputer which runs on Linux. The post-processing uses Paraview 5.11.2.

However, when I download the data and visualize it in my laptop (much more efficient for post-processing), which has BlueCFD (Windows) from where I can call Paraview (Paraview 5.6.2), I found out that in the corners of my domain (close to the outlets) I have large velocity values nearby.

Have you ever experienced something like this? Could this be related to the use of different versions? Perhaps the simulation has any error?

I attach a figure where I compare both results (re-scaled to 0-1 m/s).

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Dear openfoamers,

For anyone with the same issue, I can confirm this is because the different versions of Paraview. When tested with version 5.6.2. in the server/supercomputer, the velocity peaks also appeared. It took a few days to realise it and re-run simulations, so I hope this helps someone else...

Best regards
