Hi
I am trying to modify the damBreak tutorial mesh to create a virtual model of a fire sprinkler. I know someone has done this already but I want to change the viscosity of the water, and also add in my own sprinkler geometry. I'm trying to test out different variables such as the inlet diameter and angle at which the water impinges, and see the effect this has on how far the spray reaches across the room. I've created a mesh however I am struggling with the boundary conditions, in particular "atmosphere". I assumed this simulates the air in the room but may be wrong?. I have a small section as the inlet which is where the water comes out of the sprinkler, and I am using the symmetry for other since it is a quarter of the model. If anyone has any advice whatsoever that would be much appreciated! I am relatively new to OpenFOAM. Thanks in advance |
