Dear all,

I'm trying to simulate a near-breaking/breaking waves, via the superposition of 19 regular waves of differing frequencies and phases.

I didnt use any spectrum for this, instead, I used a range of frequencies (which are arbitary) , and manual calculate the phase needed to superimpose the waves at a focussed point, leading to the disastrous wave (occuring at the chosen time and chosen point)

Hence, I believed that I should be using waveType combinedWaves;

1) but how do i go about inputing multiple waves? How do I go about inputting 19 * stokesFirst wave?

2) the phi (phase shift) for these waves, are the values in radian or seconds?

Thanks in advanced for any kind inputs!

could it be something like this to input 19 waves?

waveType combinedWaves;
depth 0.6;
period1 1.786;
period2 0.909;
period3 ....
periodx...
direction1 (1.0 0.0 0.0);
direction2 (1.0 0.0 0.0);
directionx
height1 0.03785;
height2 0.012822;
phi1 14.858;
phi2 1.8585;
phi3 ....
phix .....

correct me if im wrong thanks!
