Special Solid Motion and Geometry

I need to simulate the hydraulic behavior of an opening tainter gate in an orifice spillway as shown in the picture:

I can't find any tutorial to point me in the rigth direction.
I need some guidance on how to approach this issue through a dynamic mesh.

It is not solved with OpenFoam. Autodesk CFD and Flow3D have no problem solving this type of mesh motion. But I still have a lot of interest in knowing if it is possible to do it in OpenFoam

Is the new overset mesh solver on Openfoam-v1706+ suitable for this case? Has Anyone a sample case?
