k-epsilon modell for Ahmed Body

Hi guys,
I am trying to run a simulation of an Ahmed Body with the k-epsilon modell. I have a problem how to determine the initial values of k and epsilon and have not found an answer in papers concerning the Ahmed Body. Just the Information, that the turbulent intensity is about 0.2%. I have found some equations here: https://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/Turb...ary_conditions With this Information I can calculate k=3/2*(i*u)² with i=0.002 But how am I supposed to calculate epsilon? I am missing the Information of the turbulent length and I dont know how to get it. The wiki offers no usable informations either. I hope u can help me! Greetings, Friendly |
