Hello Foamers,
I am trying to set up a case in Openfoam-2.4.-MNF, specifically I want to use dsmcFoam+. In my simulation I am trying to model a gas flow emerging from a thruster into near-vacuum. For the inlet I am using the boundary condition "dsmcMassFlowRateInlet" which is specific to dsmcFoam+. The setup within the "boundariesDict" is the following: Code:
boundary
{
generalBoundaryProperties
{
patchName inlet;
}
boundaryModel dsmcMassFlowRateInlet;
dsmcMassFlowRateInletProperties
{
moleFractions
{
N2 1;
};
typeIds (N2);
massFlowRate 0.003;
inletTemperature 1000;
initialVelocity (2600 240 0);
};
Does anyone know some good advice on this? Thank you very much in advance! |
