Hey guys,
is it possible to create a linear distribution of temperature in a watertank as initial condition? As I'm using OpenFOAM V8, I cannot use "setExprFields". I already tried to use "setFields" with 18 boxes and created a distribution as you can see in the picture. But can I do it in another (easy) way with a continuous distribution? This would help me a lot to achieve a more realistic model of a stratified water storage! Thanks, Hubert. Last edited by StudentFoamer; December 17, 2021 at 11:53. |

Hope that u already found the solution to this. If not you can take a look at the following link that discuss about codeStream (A relatively easier way to generate custom initial and boundary conditions for any field variable).
