Hello everyone,
I have recently started using OpenFOAM. I want to simulate an atmospheric gust. To be specific, a 1-cosine profile gust (vertical gust, y-dir.), which travels through the CFD domain with a fixed traversing speed in x-dir. I am trying use time-dependent BCs for inlet velocity but I do not have any idea on how to push this gust in x-dir at the same time. It would be really great if you someone has any experience in modelling gust in OpenFOAM and can help. Or sharing some material or links where I can find some info. will be also helpful. Thanks in advance ! Best regards Sarthak |
