I want to give a temp. (1500K) to a specific region for say 5 sec. With the help of set fields I am able to give this temperature for starting the simulation (t=0) but not for a time period. Can anyone suggest some approach? I have attached an image of the same.

Hey,
This fvOptions function might help you: https://www.openfoam.com/documentati...onstraint.html Not sure how to set the duration though, other fvOptions have sometimes a duration so try that, or see if a table for the T field could work maybe. Or just manually disable the function at T=5sec. A script could do the trick. Good luck ![]() |
