hi..
i am working on the problem of solving a francis turbine. the mesh is generated in ICEM and now i trasnported it in Openfoam. please tell me the boundary conditions that i should write for the interface of rotating and stationary surface? what are the changes required in the code for this in the field directory? if anyone has already worked on this kind of problem please mail me the details on bharat.iitd@gmail.com. i am a new user , please help me with this asap. as i am running short of time in solving the problem. regards bharat |

Hi Bharat
Yours is the case of MRF. Search for MRF related posts. Recently Wayne Zhang has tried to setup a similar problem and there was quite a descriptive description. For a start look into 2Dmixer setup. Regards Jaswi |
